Armas begins her third season as a graduate assistant with the St. Mary's Golf staff in 2026-27. In 2024-25, she helped the women's team place second at the Lone Star Conference Championship and eighth at the NCAA West Regional, and the team made a return appearance in 2025-26, finishing third in stroke play at PGA National after winning the Lone Star Conference Championship.

Armas graduated from New Mexico State, where she was a member of the women's golf team for four seasons. 

A native of Durango, Mexico, Armas attended the Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla., for high school.
