Year Opened: 2000
 

The 135,000-square-foot center honors the winning traditions of the men's and women's Rattler teams. Since its official dedication on Nov. 27, 2000, it has provided comprehensive on-campus wellness and intramural activities for the entire student body.

In addition to a weight room and court space for intramurals that benefits the students, the Alumni Athletics & Convocation Center also includes the 3,800-seat Bill Greehey Arena that hosts the St. Mary's varsity basketball and volleyball teams. The Bill Greehey Arena was the first NCAA Division II facility in the country to have video board capability, and it also includes a spacious hospitality suite that serves as an ideal space for in-game and post-game socials or to host meetings on non-game days. 

Spring 2025 Hours

The AA&CC building will open at 6 a.m. for access to the Walking Track, Pool, Racquetball Court and Auxiliary Gym by faculty/staff/students. 

The Fitness Center will continue to open at 8 a.m. and listed below are the operating hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    • (Pool closes at 10 p.m.)

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
    • (Pool closes at 8 p.m.)

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    • (Pool closes at 8 p.m.)

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    • (Pool closes at 9 p.m.)

Summer 2025 Hours

The AA&CC operating hours are as follows and are effective Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, August 8:

       Monday-Friday    8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
       (Pool closes at 6 p.m. daily)

       Saturday-Sunday   CLOSED
