In June of 2022, Jonathan Perez was named the Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Operations. Only one year prior, Perez served as an intern before transitioning into the graduate assistant role in Jan. 2022.
 
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration, Perez graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Sports Administration in Dec. 2021.
 
Prior to attending UH, Perez was a pitcher for Morton College. In two seasons with the Panthers, the left-hander averaged a strikeout per inning pitched. Showing his versatility, he also batted .500 for his career, going 2-for-4 at the plate while scoring a pair of runs.
 
A native of San Antonio, Perez graduated from nearby Smithson Valley High School in 2017.
